I have known Nickie and Kevin since they first began dating in high school over 10 years ago. When the two asked me to photograph their Southfield Silver Garden wedding, there was no way I could say “no.” Being die-hard Wolverines, their colors were Maize and Blue. They had a short, but sweet Catholic-Jewish interfaith ceremony at St. Regis Church in Birmingham before heading over to Shriners Silver Garden Event Center for their ceremony. The two had the largest wedding party I have ever seen (24 bridesmaids and groomsmen!) and we had a blast taking photographs between the ceremony and reception. When you have that many people in a wedding party its a bit like wrangling cats, but we managed to get some great shots and have a ton of fun. Party on, Party People!
